Weenie Dog Race at the Georgia Strawberry Festival—a crowd-favorite event perfect for dog lov

 Calling All Weenie Dogs! 

Get ready for the 8th Annual Weenie Dog Race at the Georgia Strawberry Festival—a crowd-favorite event perfect for dog lovers of all ages!

Only Dachshunds or Dachshund mixes are allowed to compete, and each pup will race in heats with the winners advancing to the championship. Prizes include trophies for the top three racers, so bring your fastest (and cutest) furry friend!

 EVENT INFORMATION: Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025 Time: Race begins at 2:30 PM Location: Behind First Baptist Church Entry Fee: $15.00 per dog Early Registration Deadline: Friday, April 25, 2025

 REGISTRATION:On-site registration is available at the Information Booth until 12:30 PM, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged to guarantee your spot.

 WHAT YOU NEED TO REGISTER: Email proof of current rabies vaccination to gsfweeniedograce@gmail.com Pay the $15 registration fee (early payments accepted via check, cash, or PayPal). Bring proof of vaccination on race day if not submitted prior.

 EVENT RULES:• All dogs must be leashed except during their race.• Owners are responsible for their pets at all times.• Please clean up after your dog—trash cans will be available.• Ensure your pup is healthy and happy for a safe, fun event!
