July 1, 2023 WILL mark an extraordinary time for Conyers Flower Shop. If you had told Tiny Sherrill the original owner & founder, that one day her Flower Shop & legacy would celebrate 44 years as a family owned and operated business, most likely that thought would have been in question. But now, almost 34 years later, the business is still family owned and operated while carrying on the morals, values and a legacy started July 1, 1979.

Some who read this article will remember Tiny and her husband Pete Sherrill. Tiny started working in a flower shop up off Wesley Chapel Rd back in the early 1970's where growing in knowledge and skills as a designer would play a major role in her decision to open her own shop. (I would suggest that anyone wanting to start a business do the same as she did) She was and is a Godly woman. She also was a member of the Pilot Club, ABWA, the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber and she and the Good Lord only knows what else. She was and is a people oriented person with a love for serving those around her and often touching and leaving a wonderful and lasting impression that crossed her path in life. . We at Conyers Flower Shop strive to carry on the same morals and values that Tiny started so many years ago. Were we to deviate or change, Tiny/Mama, still carry's a big stick and would not hesitate to use it. Her days now and since July 2000 when Allyson and I acquired the business are filled with traveling to & fro constantly and without any worries. As this is written, she is New Orleans and will be heading up into Canada to see the sights there and on the way. Spending our inheritance fast as she can, but then, she has earned it.
